How To Promote PubMed Articles

How does it work? The site is driven by you, the user. BioWizard users submit relevant, timely research articles they have found to be useful and interesting to the BioWizard site. Search over 16 million peer-reviewed biomedical articles through our PubMed search page and submit your favorite articles.

Do you use PubMed? Most individuals involved in the clinical or life sciences rely on peer-reviewed literature to keep up-to-date within their field. The BioWizard community was designed to make the literature search process more productive, interactive, and personalized. BioWizard provides an incredibly easy way to find and discuss the most relevant peer-reviewed medical and scientific literature. In addition, BioWizard offers an array of tools and features, including a comprehensive products search, the latest scientific news, the table of contents from major journals, and blogs from some of the most prominent minds in science and medicine today.

Search PubMed: Search PubMed through the interactive BioWizard user interface and submit relevant research articles you find to be useful and interesting to the BioWizard site. There are over 16 million peer-reviewed biomedical articles through our PubMed search page. BioWizard is a live mirror of what you see on PubMed, so you are guaranteed the most timely results.
Promote Articles: When you come across an article you like, promote it to the community so others can also benefit from your discovery. While searching through literature, you'll notice a "promote+" button next to every article. If you see an article you like, click "promote+."
Assign a Category: When you click the "promote+" button, you will see that article's PMID displayed on the left frame of the screen. This means the article is ready to be submitted to the BioWizard site. All you have to do is assign the article a category on the left frame of the screen and click “submit.”
The articles you submit are then read by the rest of the community, who vote up articles they feel are deserving of recognition. Think of it as a supercharged way to find and share the best research in your field. All submitted papers are placed in one of three sections:
  • Featured Articles: Articles that have received enough votes to be deemed of interest to everyone.
  • Top Ranked: Articles that have received the most votes over the past 30 days.
  • New Submissions: Articles recently submitted by our users.
